At this point, we're deep into the 2012 NHL Playoffs. So, we're gonna go ahead and assume that CBC sportscaster Ron MacLean is running on fumes when it comes to hyping up hockey games. Otherwise, what other possible excuse could he have for trying to compare NHL players to the firefighters and police officers who were the first to arrive on the scene on September 11th? This intro to last night's Rangers/Capitals game starts off bad and just gets worse…and worse…and worse. There are a million and one other things you could've compared the Rangers and Capitals players to, Ron. You had to take it there?!
