Jesus may be Tim Tebow's homeboy. But, that doesn't mean he wants other people to use that sentiment to make money. So, when a company called Cubby Tees unveiled the T-shirt that you see above recently, he immediately sprung into action and had his lawyers send a cease and desist letter to the company because he feels as though "the merchandise makes it appear as if Mr. Tebow actually endorses Cubby Tees and its products."

As you can see, the shirt features a clever play on the New York Jets logo. Instead on the "NY" in the background, it says "MY." And, instead of the word "JETS," it says "JESUS." The football that's usually located at the bottom of the logo is also replaced with the "Ichthys" that's used to represent faith. But, the shirt doesn't have Touchdown Timmy's name or likeness anywhere on it. So, do Tebow and his legal eagles really have a case?

Cubby Tees doesn't think so, which is why they've already sent a letter back to Tebow & Co. that says, "Eff off!" Er, well, actually it says that the shirt "shares nothing with Mr. Tebow except for promotion of a common Lord and Savior." But, it may as well have said the first thing, right?
