The Bobcats traded Emeka the first year (2008-2009) after signing him to a 6-year/$72 million contract. The former No. 1 overall pick could never recapture the magic of his first few years in the league. Okafor was a double-double machine during that time, but injuries have hampered him a bit. He's still productive and can help plenty of teams. The thing is, his contract is untradeable. He has two years and about $19 million left on his deal. With that kind of money, Emeka should be getting the Hornets to the playoffs on the reg.
