10. Stephon Marbury

This marriage was supposed to work. The Coney Island product was a legend in the playgrounds of New York since he was twelve and had the skills to justify the label. When the trade was announced during the 2004 All-Star game, Knicks fans rejoiced. Those same folks would soon turn that smile upside down. The trade that sent Antonio McDyess (another failed experiment), Charlie Ward, and two first round picks for Stephon and Penny soon became a disaster. Marbury was only worried about his stats and making All-Star teams, not winning. He was caught up in the sexual harassment case and testified to having sex with an intern in his car. He also testified against Isiah Thomas, which led to an altercation on a team flight and ultimately Starbury's depature.
