By pacing the 96th Indianapolis 500 this year, the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is setting records all over the place. This will be the 26th time a Chevy is the pace car, a record, the 11th time a Corvette is the pace car, a record, and the 2013 ZR1 is the most powerful production pace car in the history of "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing." This model will mark the 60th anniversary for the Corvette and is run by a 6.2-liter LS9 engine that puts 638 horsepower to the rear wheels.
