In one of the classiest moves in the history of sports, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed Eric LeGrand. The former Rutgers football player became paralyzed after hitting an Army player in OT on October 16, 2010 and it has always been his dream to play in the NFL. Now he has dreams of walking again and plans on going to MetLife Stadium to lay down and walk away from the spot where he once was motionless. The new coach of the Bucs, Greg Schiano, was Eric's coach at Rutgers when the incident occurred.

The Buccaneers and Schiano have released a statement about LeGrand making their 90-man offseason roster stating: "If Tampa Bay's personnel department developed a scouting report on LeGrand, as they do on all players they are considering signing, the first line was surely: "Will never quit." Schiano said of Eric, "Leading up to the draft, I couldn't help but think that this should've been Eric's draft class. This small gesture is the least we could do to recognize his character, spirit, and perseverance. The way Eric lives his life epitomizes what we are looking for in Buccaneer Men."

This should put a postive spin to anybody's day.
