It's no secret that the country's infrastructure is literally crumbling, and that the Highway fund is going to be empty within a year's time. In order to try to pick up the slack, states that do not currently have congressional authorization to run toll roads are petitioning for the right.

I-95 in Virginia and I-70 in Missouri have already been approved for toll projects. While these sorts of developments are no fun, something has to be done, as we will have a $2 Trillion backlog by 2035 if no action is taken.
