Good to see that JaVale McGee is already using his NBA offseason wisely. Yesterday, he put up the following tweet to let the world know that he bought two pet platypuses:
Just copped a pet platypus .... #swag
Then, he woke up today and reported that his pet platypuses had poisoned him:
Uh ok didn't know that Peter an Paul ( my pet platypus') were poisonous..... If ur hand turns Barney purple that's not good right?
Then, he waited about two minutes after the post about the poisoning and revealed that—gasp—the whole thing was just a clever hoax:
Jokes up!!!!!!!
Then, he chastised reporters for actually falling for his evil plan:
I can believe I fooled fans into believing I bought some platypus' but reporters?
Then, he chastised them again:
Media: u guys didn't check ur sources before writing the story? All u had to do is go to google images...Smh...Sbn...Some others n dc. SHAME
Then, he ran away giggling and yelling, "GOTCHA!" Good one, JaVale. And, again: Good to see that you're already using your NBA offseason wisely.
