Chris Bosh Might Miss Tonight's Heat/Knicks Game Because of the Birth of His Child

At this point, the Knicks need all the help they can get.

None

A fire extinguisherknocked Amar'e Stoudemire out of Game 3 of the Heat/Knicks playoff series. So, it's only right that the basketball gods even things up—er, make that, try to even things up—by knocking Chris Bosh out of the game, too. Bosh, who made headlines after Game 2 for interrupting LeBron James' post game interview, flew to New York on Wednesday with the rest of his Heat teammates for Game 3 at Madison Square Garden tonight. But, he turned right back around after the flight landed and flew back to Miami last night when his wife Adrienne called to say that she had gone into labor and was going to give birth to the couple's first child.

Now, about an hour ago, Adrienne posted this message up on Twitter indicating that she had given birth sometime last night:

From a Dream, To a Thought, To Reality, To being in our Arms :) Thank you all for the Positive wishes & thoughts!

So, maybe Bosh will play tonight after all. But, if you're a Knicks fan, you better hope Bosh opts to stay by his wife's side instead of flying back to the Big Apple today. It might be the only chance you have of getting stealing a W tonight.
