Watch the Trailer for Bobbito Garcia's NYC Street Basketball Documentary "Doin' It in The Park"

Co-directors Bobbito Garcia and Kevin Couliau traveled through the five boroughs of NYC to 180 different basketball courts in search of the perfect pick-up game. All they had was their bikes, cameras and a basketball. The film explores summer hoops in the Mecca of basketball like no other before it. The doc also features legends like Dr. J, Pee Wee Kirkland, Kenny Anderson, and many, many more. The film should be out sometime this year. In the meantime, check out Bob's Guide to Playground Hoops he did with us last summer to get you started on your own streetball journey around the city.

Summerstage will be screening the documentary in its entirety at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, NY at 7 PM on August 12 for FREE. So mark your calendars.
