Aston Martin to Celebrate 100 Years With All New Model

Here's hoping for something mid-engined.

Aston Martin will be releasing an all new model next year to celebrate the company's 100th birthday. CEO Ulrich Bez said recently, "This will be an entirely new model. We have to do something remarkable to mark our centenary. It won’t be a DB9 with a Centenary Edition badge and it won’t be a limited edition like the One-77 supercar. This will be a mainstream Aston."

We know that the car will be sporting a 550hp V12 and will go from a motionless state to 60mph in less than four seconds, but those are all of the proverbial beans that have been spilled.

The first Aston was the "Coal Scuttle" in 1914.
