You know what they say about movies. The sequel 32nd film in a series is never as good as the original! So, we don't blame you if you've never seen The Gangbang Girl #32. The producers of it really should have thought long and hard about stopping the series after the first dozen movies or so. It was all downhill from there. But, we digress…
We bring up The Gangbang Girl #32 because the Los Angeles Times just did some digging around and discovered that the movie was actually filmed on hallowed ground. Somehow, the company that produced it got access to the legendary Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum—home to the USC Trojans—and filmed the X-rated flick there one night back in September 2001.
"I was just in awe that we were at the Coliseum," Mr. Marcus, one of the stars of the film, told the LA Times. "I've made movies for about 20 years and I've done a lot of things, but that one really stands out…I mean, who gets to have sex on the Coliseum floor?"
Well, in theory, no one. So, the Times tried to track down someone who could explain how the movie's director got the go-ahead to film at the Coliseum. They contacted Anabolic Video, the company responsible for making the movie, but had no luck reaching them. They also tried to contact former Coliseum General Manager Patrick Lynch—who resigned from his position last year because of a corruption scandal—but he denied playing any part in getting the filming of the flick approved. And even the Los Angeles Police Department denied any knowledge of the porno shoot, despite the fact that Mr. Marcus recalls seeing an LAPD helicopter flying overhead during filming.
But, regardless of how they did it, Anabolic got it done. It almost makes you want to pull GB Girl #32 out of the archives and give it a second look, doesn't it? Because it's now a part of one sports stadium's storied history.
