A Florida High School Student Was Punished For "Tebowing" On Stage During His Graduation

Check out his punishment.

None

When are people going to realize that "Tebowing" isn't funny anymore? A couple weeks ago, we called Paul Pierce out for doing it. And now, we've gotta do the same thing to a Florida high school student who thought it'd be hilarious to "Tebow" during his high school ceremony recently.

Acting on a five-dollar bet, Chuck Shriner—a senior at Bishop Verot Catholic High in Fort Myers, Fla.—began to walk across the stage at his high school graduation to get his diploma when he stopped, took a knee, and "Tebowed" in front of his fellow graduates. But, the school's principal as well as his mother, who happens to be a math teacher at the school, didn't find what he did funny and stripped him of his diploma temporarily after he pulled his prank. In order to get it back, he was required to clean up the school gym where the graduation was held. But, even after all that, he still says it was worth it.

"They said what I did would give underclassmen inspiration to do something else, that it might lead to something else," he said afterwards. "So, they were trying to set an example…[My mother] was really mad, but I think it was worth it."

Totally. For five bucks, you looked like a total douche in front of your entire class and embarrassed the hell out of your mother. SMH. When will these kids learn?
