Video: Chicago Artist Debuts Steve Bartman-Themed Track "Don't Blame Steve"

Calm it down, calm it down!

It was a fateful October night that left an entire franchise and city in shambles. The Chicago Cubs were five outs away from the World Series before one moment supposedly changed everything. The reality of it was that Steve Bartman getting in the way of that ball really had nothing to do with why the Cubs lost. To name two off the top, pitcher Mark Prior was left in too long, and Alex Gonzalez had two costly errors, contributing to eight runs given up that inning.

Almost 10 World Series-less years people still complain about and blame Bartman for everything that happened. Rest assured, though, Steve. You've got at least a few guys on your side. Chicago rapper Serengeti must have seen that ESPN 30 for 30 documentary, because he just released a track from his upcoming Kenny Dennis EP, called "Don't Blame Steve." The track encourages people to blame everybody else that was fault, not the guy that did what everybody else in the world would have done in his position. Your move, Chicago.
