The Owner of the Nets Says He'll Crush Mark Cuban in a Kickboxing Throwdown If the Mavericks Sign Deron Williams

We really, really hope the Mavs sign D-Will now.

None

Deron Williams has already made it perfectly clear that he's probably not going to resign with the New Jersey Nets next season. And, can you blame him? The Nets stink. They weren't able to land Dwight Howard at the trade deadline. And, while they are moving to Brooklyn next season, the future isn't all that bright for the franchise. So, it should come as no surprise that D-Will might be looking to sign a long-term contract somewhere else.

But, according to Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, that "somewhere else" better not be in Dallas with the Mavericks. Because, if it is, he's not going to be happy. And he's going to have to "crush" Mavs owner Mark Cuban for stealing Williams away from him.

"Let the best man win," he told reporters earlier today. "If he wins, I will crush him in a kickboxing throwdown."

A kickboxing showdown? Between two of the richest men in the NBA? Over a free agent? Um...YES, PLEASE! Please sign with the Mavs, Deron. No, really. Please?
