Mazda has been hard at work applying the lessons learned from the company's proprietary SkyActiv technology. The technologies of reduced internal friction, reduced rotating mass, and more efficient transmissions will be applied to traditional rotary engine set ups as well as an application where the rotary would power an electric generator.
While this is great news, we are saddened to hear that there will be no SkyActiv V6.
