When Tim Tebow attended a Yankees game at Yankee Stadium a couple weeks ago and got booed by the crowd, we thought it was because…well, because it was Tim Tebow. However, as it turns out, it was partly because it was Tim Tebow and partly because Tim Tebow now plays for the New York Jets. How else can you explain what happened to Mark Sanchez and Santonio Holmes last night?

They attended the Knicks/Clippers game at Madison Square Garden last night—a game that the Knicks won 99-93—and were shown on the JumboTron and introduced together during the first quarter. And, the response of the crowd was not very favorable. In fact, they were booed mercilessly by those in attendance.

Both of them later declined to offer up a comment at halftime of the game. But, we think it's probably safe to say that the Jets have a lot of work to do if they want to get back into the good graces of New Yorkers.
