That doesn't mean it's not fun to carve and build one, though. A German artist from Duisberg finished an exact life-size replica of a 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing. The model is perfect from the unique headlights to the distinct overhead-opening "wings" to the incredibly detailed dash. For 5,850 Euros, or $7,800, you can buy this beautiful collectible on eBay.
