Jaguar has been looking at just about every market segment in the last year. We've heard reports of an SUV and a BMW 3-series fighter. At the same time, we know a two-seater F-series is getting close to production. What we hadn't heard yet was this from Design Chief Ian Callum: "I have mentioned supermini and that is my personal soapbox, internally and externally, I’d love to think that one day we could make something the size of a Mini."

While it seems a bit off the wall for Jag, which has always focused on sports cars and mid-size to large sedans, we can't help but being somewhat intrigued by the idea.
