Are you for or against college kids smoking weed? Either way, you'll probably be fascinated by a new story called "We Smoked It All" that is running in the April 30, 2012 issue of ESPN The Magazine. The focus of the explosive piece is the University of Orgeon football team and how an estimated 60 percent of players on the team rreportedly use marijuana. And, as the anonymous player who is profiled in the story explains, rampant marijuana use isn't just limited to the Ducks, either.

"It's not just us," he says while smoking Purple Kush with a reporter in the room (!). "If you think Oregon's the only team smoking weed, you're crazy."

We don't want to give away too much. But, the point of the story seems to be that more athletes are using marijuana than ever before. Some use it to relax. Others use it to bond with their teammates. And a select few have even admitted to smoking before games to ease their nerves so that they can play their best. Interesting stuff, to say the least, especially when you consider that this is happening at one of the country's top college football programs.
