Back in January, a Massachusetts high schooler missed most of his team's hockey season after suffering a concussion. The parents of the young kid believe that this brutal hit (video above) is the main reason. So, how do the parental units want to settle this? Complain to the child's mom and dad? Nope. They want an assault and battery charge brought against the player who delivered the hit. Now, according to Deadspin, "the district court clerk magistrate will review the video tomorrow and decide whether to press charges." Yes, it was a bad knockdown, but c'mon, criminal charges?!
