Audi already expanded its corporate boundaries by purchasing Ducati this week, and now the German company is building its presence on this side of the globe, focusing on Mexico to build a new production plant. The site will handle future North American SUV lines starting in 2016. This will be Audi's first foray into production in North America, something that BMW and Mercedes-Benz have already started.
