Tim Tebow Traded to Jets for Second Time Today

We believe it's official this time.

None

Remember when we told you that Tim Tebow was traded to the Jets for a fourth-round pick? Well, that was put in jeopardy this afternoon when news came out that Denver was asking New York to pay back $5 million in bonuses and advance salary. Apparently the Jets didn't thoroughly read the the contract and weren't exactly prepared to do this, leaving the trade in doubt.

This brought on talks of Jacksonville coming back into the situation. With both the Jags and Jets coming at him hard, Tebow was left in the middle, basically put in a LeBron situation without even asking; it was reportedly up to him where to go. Finally, according to Adam Schefter, the Jets came out victorious once again, this time trading a fourth- and sixth-round pick and paying half of the $5 million to the Broncos for Tebow and a seventh-rounder. Yeah, we're exhausted from it, too. Hopefully, this will be the final word on this trade.
