Last Week's Rank: 2
Last Week's Results: L @ Utah 90-97, (Tues); W vs. LA Clippers 114-91, (Wed); W vs. Minnesota 149-140, (Fri); W vs. Miami, 103-87 (Sun)
This Week: @ Portland, Tuesday (3/27); @ LA Lakers, Thursday (3/29); vs. Chicago, Sunday (4/1)
Well, that was fun. After dropping their first game of the week to the Jazz and emerging on the right side of a double-overtime 149-140 shootout with the Wolves (where Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant combined for 85 points), the Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the Miami Heat and gave them a proper welcome — a 103-87 loss. Durant posted 28, 9 and 8, and all Thunder who played save Nick Collison were on the + side of the +/-. Something to think about, perhaps, come Finals time. Next week the Thunder get a visit from the East-leading Chicago Bulls — we'll have to wait and see what sort of reception KD and company give them. —Russ Bengtson
