Hearing that Rick Pitino, head coach of the Louisville Cardinals, was assessed with a technical in his Elite Eight match up today was no surprise. Florida head coach Billy Donovan used to be a player of Pitino's after all, so we expected it get pretty heated. What we wouldn't have expected was for Pitino to get a tech when he was screaming at his own player.

He was yelling at Peyton Siva for a stupid fourth foul with 11 minutes left in the game. And while he was yelling at his own player, that's actually not what he got a technical for. The ref gave the foul, because Pitino was too far out onto the court. Either way, it turned out to be a spark for the Cardinals, who rallied from an 11-point deficit with a 25-10 run to beat Florida and advance to the Final Four. Who says yelling doesn't get you anywhere?
