Industrial designer Mitchell Silva is working on an interesting product which he calls GloBars. A fairly straightforward concept, GloBars are simply a set of handlebars that would come equipped with a string of lights built-in to the front, making the entire bar it's own light source. Although it's still in the design phase this seems to be one of those ideas that you can't imagine no one has worked on already. The GloBars would be powered via USB and activated by a button on the bar itself. Due to issues with structural integrity GloBars are not quite ready for production, but an eye out for this sort of product as we have a feeling it might become a big soon.
