Michael Beasley Ate Junk Food and Watched Cartoons to Ease the Stress of the NBA Trade Deadline

Oh, Michael Beasley. You never cease to amaze us.

On Thursday afternoon, there were a bunch of rumors flying around indicating that you might be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in the hours, minutes, and even seconds leading up to the NBA trade deadline. So, over the weekend, you were asked how you handled the stress associated with the deadline. More specifically, you were asked what you were doing when you found out that you wouldn't be traded after all. And your response was vintage Michael Beasley.

"I know exactly what I was doing," Beasley told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I was watching Fanboy and Chum Chum, eating pizza, French fries, and lemonade."

Watching a cartoon on Nickelodeon, eating a bunch of stuff you probably shouldn't be eating, and waiting for the phone to ring? Sounds like an awesome afternoon to us! And to millions of other teenage kids all across the country as well.
