The Memphis Grizzlies have given three-time All-Star Gilbert Arenas another shot to prove he can still play competitively with the best ball players in the world. General Manager and Vice President of Basketball Operations Chris Wallace made the announcement Tuesday of Arenas' one-year, $300,000 deal. Arenas' best season came in '05-'06 when he averaged 29.3 points, 6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game, but he only averaged 10.8 points in a split season with Washington and Orlando in '10-'11. The Grizz are currently ranked 19th in the league in scoring at 95.1 per game and have Mike Conely, Josh Selby, and Jeremy Pargo playing point. Considering none of the team's guards average 13 points per game, Arenas could be a steal at the league minimum.
