According to recent reports, there are 12 different NFL teams who have called Peyton Manning's agent and asked if he'd be interested in playing for them next season. That's right, 12 teams. So, how in the world is he gonna decide which one to actually play for? Well, money will obviously be a factor (regardless of what Peyton says). The offensive system that the team runs and the head coach will be factors, too. And a celebrity endorsement or two certainly wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. So after the Heat beat the Hawks last night, LeBron James decided to speak up on behalf of the Miami Dolphins and make a pitch for Peyton to join him down in Miami next season.

"I'm just saying," he told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "Dolphins need a quarterback, and Peyton's available...I'm a Miami Heat player, and I want Miami sports to be great. The U, the Dolphins, the Marlins, the Heat, of course. Peyton Manning is a great player. No matter what happened this past year, his resume speaks for itself and it would be great to have him down here."

Sure would. Then again, we're sure it'd be great for 11 other cities to have him there, too. So we'll just have to see what happens. Overall, we're just glad it sounds like Peyton will have a decision for us within a week. Because, at this point, we really can't stand to hear anymore talking heads revealing where they think he might land next season. So, what's it gonna be, Peyton?
