Kris Humphries Offered Up An Awesome Analogy When Asked If He'd Waive His No-Trade Clause Right Now

It involves a bridge, a drowning baby, and deep water.

Don't look now, but Kris Humphries is kinda ballin' his ass off this season. The Nets are absolutely terrible, but he's averaging a respectable 13.6 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. And, last night, he even had a career game, dropping 31 points and grabbing 18 boards in a loss to the Bucks. So it should come as no surprise to hear that there are some teams out there who are interested in trading for Humphries. The only problem, though, is that the power forward has a no-trade clause in his contract that allows him to dictate where he'll go if he's traded. And Humphries had a very, very strange response for reporters yesterday when he was asked about whether or not he'd waive that no-trade clause if he were to be traded before the March 15th deadline.

"Would you jump off a bridge?" he asked when they posed a question about him possibly waiving the clause. "It depends how high the water is [or] if there was a drowning baby in the water. I mean, because you [might] jump off in the summer, if it was warm out, [and] you know the water was deep underneath...It's all circumstantial is the point I'm trying to make."

Translation? Errrr...wait. Okay, we're smart. We can figure this one out. There's a bridge, a drowning baby, it's warm out...Think, think, think...Bridge, baby, warm...Miami?! You want to play for the Heat, Kris? Is that it? But, wait: Did you just refer to Chris Bosh as a "drowning baby"? He's probably not gonna be too happy to hear that!

D'ah well. Kim Kardashian took a lot of things away from you when she asked you for a divorce, son. But, she clearly didn't take away your insane analogy-building skills! Well done.
