According to a report in Pro Football Talk, if free agent Peyton Manning decides to go with the Broncos, then the Tebow era is officially over in Mile High. It's as simple as that. Forget about everything that Tim did to get his team to the playoffs last year or his remarkable performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers that helped get them past the first round. Instead, Denver will take their chances on a soon-to-be 36 year old quarterback still recovering from a serious neck surgery with no back-up plan in place.

After spending a couple days with the executive V.P. of football operations John Elway and head coach John Fox, Peyton is rumored to have dwindled his list of potential teams down to two: the Broncos and the Arizona Cardinals. With the possibility of Manning-to-Denver getting stronger every day, the talk has evidently affected Tim Tebow. This weekend, Tebow was scheduled to make an appearance in Tampa to help raise money for wounded war veterans, but sports anchor Nicole Darin of WTSP-TV tweeted that Tim was so "rattled" by Manning’s visit with the Broncos that he refused to speak with the media as he had originally promised.

If Peyton does decide to join Denver, it shouldn't take long for Tebow to find a new, familiar home. It has been reported that the current Broncos starting quarterback could very well land in Jacksonville. The Jaguars have already inquired about trading for Timmy. But what if Manning chooses another team? Is the relationship between Tebow and the Broncos' brass so broke that it's beyond repair or will they just throw some leaves over the mess they made...again.
