The remaining free agent pool continues to dwindle, as former Green Bay Packer quarterback Matt Flynn signed a three-year, $26 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks. Flynn, who made a Twitter specifically to celebrate this occasion, was highly sought after following his two significant appearances for the Packers over the past two seasons in which he tallied nine touchdowns, 731 yards, and only two interceptions. Although some people, like Kurt Warner, are skeptical of giving him such a big deal after such a small sample size, his new family took to Twitter to show how excited they are.

Matt Flynn's the newest Seahawk... We're fired up to bring him to Seattle! #AlwaysCompete
Just got off the phone with Matt Flynn. And he's ready to WIN!!

Baldwin was even willing to give up jersey 15, the number Flynn wore at LSU. Now, all we can do is sit and wait six months to see if Flynn will turn out to be Matt Cassel 2.0.
