Fusing contemporary, crafted luxury and all-terrain capability, Bentley Motors revealed its latest design concept--the EXP 9 F--today at the Geneva Motor Show. Essentially a new take on the Grand Touring Bentley, the EXP 9 F could become a third model line for the brand (alongside the bespoke Mulsanne and a trio of Continentals). Wolfgang Dürheimer, Bentley's chairman and chief executive, notes: "We know that many Bentley customers already own SUVs, admiring their style, luxury, performance and versatility. With EXP 9 F, Bentley is making a clear statement of intent that we have both the expertise and desire to meet and exceed their expectations."
From a design perspective, the car allows for a reflection of Bentley's traditional sporting character. A muscular exterior houses a light, airy cabin, complete with full touchscreen interface technologies and a bespoke picnic hamper. Yeah, that is contemporary luxury.
What's under the hood? The Bentley EXP 9 F features a 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged V12 engine, packing the power required of a pinnacle luxury SUV.
The concept allows Bentley to test the limits of design, craftsmanship, and engineering. While new terrain for the brand, the EXP 9 F is a natural progression for the company.
