Base Jumper Miraculously Survives A 450-Foot Fall

Someone was looking out for you, man.

Sam Baker is one fortunate guy. After two of his friends jumped off of the Superstition Mountains in Arizona, it was Sam's turn to take a leap off the 600-foot-cliff. But when he went to deploy his parachute, which was packed backwards, Baker was sent spiraling down with an almost certain death awaiting him. Fortunately, the wind carried his helpless body into a crevasse about 150 from the bottom of the canyon.

After only suffering a minor ankle injury, Sam had to wait four hours for a rescue team to come to his aid. Yes, that's right. A 450-foot fall and dude comes away with what many would see as a scratch. Seriously man, play the lottery, ask out the girl you never thought you had a shot with, something! You're just that damn lucky.
