Dereck Chisora was in a different square Saturday night after being involved in a brawl with David Haye at the Vitali Klitschko and Chisora post-match press conference in Germany. Chisora was arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot Haye, a top heavyweight contender.
“I swear to God, David, I’m going to f****** shoot you," Chisora said. "Listen. I’m going to physically shoot David Haye. I will burn you.”
Tempers swelled when Haye continually interrupted the press conference, taunting Chisora. Eventually, Chisora was fed up, punched or shoved Haye, who landed a right jab to the jaw of his own. The two face up to three months in prison and heavy fines if charged.
