If you're really good, you don't need to actually look at the basket when you shoot the ball. If you're really, really good, you don't need to even face the basket either. Aaron Zinnerman of Wabash College in Indiana is that good. Yesterday, during Wabash's 79-51 win over Kenyon College, Zinnerman gathered a loose ball and, with the shot clock running down, casually tossed a 15-foot shot over his shoulder. He caught a lot of rim (he's not that good), but the shot fell. And that's how Division III players make the weekend highlight reels.
