Skip Prosser was in the midst of building another powerhouse on North Carolina's Tobacco Road when he had a fatal heart attack in 2007. Before Skip's tenure, Wake Forest was known as the "little brother" among North Carolina's prestigious basketball universities. Sure there was Randolph Childress' crazy ACC tourney run in '95 with the help of a young Tim Duncan, but Skip was going to make the Deacs as relevant as Duke and UNC. He snatched Carolina-born UNC fan CP3 from under their noses the year after Josh Howard graduated and when Al Faroq-Aminu (with Jeff Teague already there) signed up, he told his assistant, "Dino [Gaudio], we're going to be good again."
