French designer, architect, and artist Phillipe Starck has recently teamed up with Peugeot Cycles to produce what they're calling the "the bike of the future." A bicycle/scooter hybrid, designed with input from the citizens of Bordeaux, France, the bike will come complete with a foot plate in front of the pedals that will allow riders to kick-push their way on the bicycle. Once completed, the bikes will be added to the city's current bike sharing program, which currently consists of 1,545 bikes across 139 stations.
