The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 beat out the Maserati GranTurismo MC, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster, and Audi A7 to take the Robb Report 2012 Car of the Year crown. Named after a bull raised by the Don Celestino Cuardi Vides family, the Aventador packs a V12 engine that produces 700 hp at 8,250 rpm, and 509 lbs of torque at 5,500 rpm. The four-wheel drive beast tops out at 217 mph and hits 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. The award comes just three years after the Lambo Gallardo LP 560-4 took the title. For $387,000 you can trick the ladies into thinking you're the man of the year.
