Maserati's New Smaller Sedan to Offer a Diesel Engine?!?

In other news, Hell is -12°F and the Green Party has 72% of the house.

None

Maserati has certainly been... branching out recently. The first heresy was the announcement on an SUV and now we have a second heresy of a diesel V6 sporting a trident. What's next, a $15,000 subcompact?

This engine will be in what is internally known as the "Maseratina," the upcoming smaller off-spring of the Quattroporte. This new diesel V6 will make 300hp and 516 ft-lbs of torque. Sounds like it might still be Maserati-ish. We wouldn't be surprised to see this powerplant show up in the Kubang either.
