Apparently, having a size 19 foot is not a valid excuse for stepping on another man's face in the middle of an NBA game.
"I have size 19 feet," Kevin Love said on Friday night after he "accidentally" stepped on Luis Scola's face and chest during a Timberwolves game against the visiting Rockets. "He just happened to be there. I had nowhere to go. I kind of tripped up. I just had nowhere to step. It was a heat-of-the-moment type play. He was there and it happened to be his face."
Wow. Awesome quote, Kev. But the league isn't buying it. Which is why you've been ordered to serve a two-game suspension (without pay!) for treating Scola's grill like a parquet floor. So kick your size 19s up and enjoy some time off. You might as well make the most of it.
