In 2010 Jaguar surprised the world with a crazy hybrid supercar that featured two 95hp turbines. The jet engines charged a battery and after the battery was charged, magic happened. This magic made the Jag go from 0-60 in as few as 3.4 seconds. Tata, the company that owns Jaguar, also partially owns the Bladon Jets Engineering Centre, which is where the turbines are coming from. Now that Saab is dead, Jaguar might just have to scoop up "Jaguar: Made from Jets... no really."
Sadly, only a handful of the cars will feature the twin-turbine powerplant, as most of the 250 examples made will be powered by a four cylinder engine made by F1 team Williams and some electric wizardry. We suppose that still sounds like a good thing.
