Rest easy, Clippers fans! Chris Paul won't be a one-and-done player in Los Angeles.
Technically, CP3 could have opted out of his contract with the Clippers after this season and made a move to another team. And there was some real concern that he might do that. Dwight Howard will seemingly be on the move, and the thought was that Paul might want to join him somewhere. But during an interview with Jim Rome yesterday, Paul revealed that he'll be back with the Clippers next season—for a cool $17.8 million.
Go figure. A guy who actually wants to play for the Clippers. Never thought we'd see that. The apocalypse really is coming in 2012!
