BMW is saying that this is just a concept for Geneva, but it looks production ready to us. While the idea of an M-Sport 1 series hatch is certainly a good one, along with that tri-color stripe, we can just tell that this will be one of those sad European market only vehicles. Say it 'ain't so BMW.
A RWD hatch with a 3.0L, 300hp I6 engine and the full compliment of M handling upgrades sounds like a perfect all-round car to us.
Americans like hatchbacks now. Just looks at the percentage of hatch to sedan sales when it comes to cars like the Fiesta and the Focus.
