Showing a startling lack of foresight, Bentley released a V8 engine that is almost as powerful as the W12, consumes much less fuel, and weighs a lot less. Obviously, W12 sales have dropped.
Bentley has promised to remedy this with a W12 that makes at least 600hp mated to an eight speed transmission. There might even be a hybrid option to keep consumption in check.
