Football season is officially over, so it's only right that we turn to the closest alternative, Rugby, to satisfy our cravings. After taking out South Africa and England in the semis and quarters, New Zealand was going for their third consecutive championship at the U.S. Stage of the IRB Rugby Sevens World Series in Las Vegas. Samoa got off to a 19-5 lead, but the Kiwis roared back and tied it up 19-all with three minutes remaining.

On the final play, Samoa frantically scrambled across the field with the clock at zero. A few quick aversions, a couple cuts here and there, and a powerful run led to Alafoti Faosiliva's second try of the day and a shocking victory for the Samoans. The Kiwis still lead the series with 92 points, while Samoa now sits in fifth with 69.
