Remember in June when LeBron James sought to comfort himself by noting that, yes, while he'd just lost the NBA Finals, he'd wake up the next morning being him, while the people who rooted against him would wake up with their same presumably shittier lives? Flash forward to Sunday afternoon when Ray Lewis took the exact opposite tack in his speech to the Baltimore Ravens after they'd lost the AFC Championship to the Patriots. Lewis first supports his teammates (including calling Joe Flacco out by name), and then puts things in their proper context: Those little people problems are actually bigger than a football game, and, yes, life will go on. Well done, Ray.
