Video: The Acura NSX Concept Looks Great, but Is it Really a Supercar?

Let the debate begin.

The guys over at High Gear Media did a bunch of wrap ups at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, and we came across the intriguing preview on the all-new Acura NSX Hybrid Concept. It was interesting for us, one, because we wanted to get a better look, and two, because they bring up the question of whether the new vehicle will meet today's standards of what makes a car a supercar.

The projected specs have the new NSX putting out around 400 horsepower from a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. The original NSX was made entirely out of aluminum, and we're hoping that Acura finds a way to do the same with the new model. We are still three years away from this hitting production in Ohio, so there are lots of specifics and details that Acura could change, but we're hesitant to put it in the supercar category with the initial numbers we've seen.
