Specialized celebrates its 38th year in cycling in 2012, and to recognize its roots, the company has produced a "'74" collection of shoes and gloves (in both half- and full-finger). Both utilize leather construction—Pittards on the gloves, kangaroo on the shoes—as well as state-of-the-art Body Geometry construction. The gloves and shoes feature original Specialized red, orange, and yellow tags. The shoes offer all the performance of Specialized's 2012 S-Works shoes in a classic throwback design. Available in any color you want, as long as it's black, the '74 collection should be hitting stores this week. The shoes are set to retail at $400, the gloves at $45 (half-finger) and $55 (full-finger).
