"Racing Dreams" is a documentary that just came out on DVD that follows the fight to win a national karting championship. The drivers are between the ages of 10 and 13. In karting, just like in most physical professions from skiing to ballet, that is the age where the aspiring racer has to decide whether this is a hobby or a career worth tackling borderline insurmountable odds for.

The film has won Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Indianapolis International Film Festival, and the Nashville Film Festival, as well as receiving a Silver Hugo at the Chicago Film Festival. It has been nominated for an academy award.
